How can I change the default font in a multiline editbox in a dialog?

Just because it never happened doesn't mean it isn't true.

You can't change fonts in dialogs. Not with standard dialogs anyway. You'd need a dll like DCX.

- argv[0] on EFnet #mIRC
- "Life is a pointer to an integer without a cast"

Thanks for the reply.
Slightly tangentially, can you explain what the 'rich' style parameter is for?

cheers

it gives you a richedit control instead of a "static text" control. The differences are minute now that mIRC is a Unicode application, but there are some subtle functionality differences regarding rendering and text formatting:

- argv[0] on EFnet #mIRC
- "Life is a pointer to an integer without a cast"
