You can't change fonts in dialogs. Not with standard dialogs anyway. You'd need a dll like DCX.

it gives you a richedit control instead of a "static text" control. The differences are minute now that mIRC is a Unicode application, but there are some subtle functionality differences regarding rendering and text formatting:
