OP NineTails Ameglian cow N Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 38	Whenever I use the usual hotkey to turn on MS Japanese IME on Windows 7, Alt-~, mIRC's main menu, which i usually keep turned off, pops in on Alt key up. Apparently mIRC does not register the "~" key that has been pressed along with Alt. Not a killer, but pretty annoying, and there's no option to turn this off. mIRC 7.22

argv0 Hoopy frood A Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 3,918 Montreal, QC, Canada	Have you tried this in the 7.23 beta? This does not seem to happen on my system, but that's probably because IME is off for me. - argv[0] on EFnet #mIRC - "Life is a pointer to an integer without a cast"

I have enabled Japanese Microsoft IME in Windows 7 and I am able to switch between English and Japanese input using LeftAlt+Shift. However, when I use press the LeftAlt+Tilde key combination, nothing happens, whether in an editbox, a text editor, mIRC or any other application. Can you describe a step by step method that reproduces this issue?
