Ok, I know this may be unneeded, but it seems that there's a decent amount of network specific questions being added weekly by users, and I was wondering if a Network Specific forum would be a good one to add here, create new sticky topics for it, as well as move topics from other areas to that section? I know it'd be a lot of work, was just hoping to see what others thought, and if it would more effectively help new users get the help they need faster/better.

Thoughts?

It's difficult if not impossible to curate up to date information about arbitrary networks. The best place to ask about network specific issues will always be the specific network in question. Directing users to the network for help seems like a much better idea than answering it here, just because (a) the answer might change, and (b) it gives the wrong idea that we support any network here. Telling users where to find accurate information seems like a better deal than pretending we have the accurate information and potentially getting it wrong. A generic sticky telling users to visit their network for network information might be useful, but my guess is nobody will read it-- stickies tend to get ignored.

As a sidenote, I think the frequency of posts is being exaggerated. I've seen a couple, but not more than usual, and not a lot even on an absolute scale (1 or 2 a week seems manageable to me).
