PS: The entire README.txt including the examples are for perl4mIRC.

Indeed, but the README is simply out of date. Look at the mrc and c files for the actual syntax. It's probably the same but with /php* instead of /perl*

Note that the author of that script also wrote perl4mirc, he probably just copied the README over and forgot to update it.

Do you actually need to have PERL installed in order to use that?

Because I tried this [without having PERL installed] and never once got it working...

...actually, I don't think I even managed to get the dll to load.


What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?

php4mirc requires php.
perl4mirc requires perl.

I'm not sure what the question is. I also don't maintain that library, you should ask the author.
