Hi,

I've got my own shell with sBNC and I also activated SSL (user -> SSL -> sBNC).

Because there are very few users and I want and easy setup, I decided to use a self signed certificate.

Upon first connection mirc will complain about the self singed certificate...

But how can I check the validity of the SSL certificate? In other setups (for example webservers) it is possible to check the fingerprint. And if the fingerprint is the same, the connection will be secure...

But how to view the fingerprint with mirc?

This is not currently possible as mIRC does not display the fingerprint for the connection. However I have added this to my to-do list and it should be in the next version.
