Maybe its a good way to make mIRC charybdis compitable?
Because charybdis got some usermode changes.
Like: +q is muted and wont be show on the banlist(gui)

Thanks Aha2Y.

If charybdis follows the proper IRC protocol, mIRC should support it with no trouble. If there are problems, it's likely due to improper implementation, you should talk to the devs of the ircd.

Note that it's the IRCd's responsibility to implement the IRC protocol. Any extensions should be made *through* the correct protocol mechanisms (like RAW 005). Similarly, it's mIRC's responsibility to implement the IRCd protocol-- not the protocol for *specific* networks.

I think he/she was just requesting that the +q mode be added to mIRC's built-in Channel Central dialog.

I doubt this would happen because, to my knowledge, it's not a very commonly used mode. However, it would be interesting if Khaled introduced a new channel central dialog that dynamically supported additional mode lists (beyond +b, +I, and +e) based on the server's 005 reply.
