I have happily been using mirc6.35 for sometime. However, after I upgraded to mirc7.17, microsoft Data Execution Prevention presents me with a dialog to say that mirc has stopped working.
I have re-installed 7.17 as portable, but with the same result. It will not run.
I also have tried 7.14 and 7.1: same thing, DEP closes them down.
I reinstalled 6.35 and find that it still works fine.
Any clues?
