Hey all,
When I right-click over the text field, the order has been changed. It is annoying and I would like to restore the previous layout.

Quote:
29/09/2010 - mIRC v7.12

Changes:
16.Fixed editbox menu "Paste" and "Delete" reversed positions.

Could anyone teach how to restore "Delete" ABOVE "Paste" or ideally if there is a way to remove "Delete" completely?
Thanks for the info.

Still, it's the truth. It is very unlikely to be changed back. It is now using the correct standard order for those items. Look at the Edit menu as well as other programs and you'll see that it originally had the incorrect order. That's why it was changed. It's much less confusing for it to use the standard order than for it to use an incorrect one. In short, as stated, you'll get used to it.

Well thanks for your answers, I guess.
I'll find an alternative way to do it.

Seriously though, if it had originally been that way it wouldn't be an issue. You would be used to it. You wouldn't even think to want it differently. So just give it some time and next thing you know it will be very normal and you will be accustomed to it.

Hard to undo 10+ years of pasting URLs a certain way.
Besides the Delete function is really unneeded for me in there.

Ctrl + V = paste. Much faster and easier than a context menu. smile
