I am constantly " /join " and " /part " channels on various networks.

Currently there is a option to " Keep Channels open ". So, could it be possible to add a option for " Keep Channels windows opened on /part " ?

I agree... this is particularly valuable on a network like freenode... where an op can use /remote [chan] <nick> to send a part message to another user....

This has been asked for many times before. One time by me, in fact. I still would really like to see it happen, but it doesn't seem to have a very high priority.

This would indeed be a great feature, and has been suggested many times. I'm actually surprised it hasn't been implemented yet, as it seems like it wouldn't be difficult to add.

Often, I'd like to part, but still review the buffer (without opening the logs). A simple "/part -k" would work. Or, access to whatever event actually closes the window would be great. I've tried using /halt in the on (^)PART event and parting via a raw server message, but this fails.

Please consider implementing this long-desired feature.

I've often wished this feature existed as well, for the same reason.
