Not sure if this is a mIRC bug or not.
I've recently bought a second monitor and mIRC has some issues when I use both. Not only does DCX work properly anymore, but when I open a clean mIRC on the secundary display and open the Options dialog, it opens it on the primary display. Same goes for all mIRC dialogs.

Something I can do to resolve this?

mIRC 7 does not have that option anymore as far as I know.
But anyhow in mIRC 6.35 that option is indeed checked, but to no avail.

Multi-monitor support is now enabled by default in mIRC 7.x. I have not been able to reproduce this issue here. I am using multiple monitors and when I run mIRC, the Options and other dialogs open on the correct monitor ie. where the main mIRC window is located. I am testing under Windows XP SP3. Do you see a similar issue with other applications?

Very good point. I just tested and the problem also occurs in other applications, so it's a Windows or Video driver issue probably. Thanks, should have tested that first smile

I had this problem a while back and a simple upgrade of my video drivers from the manufacturer resolved it.

It was a setting in the ATI Control Panel. smile
I enabled the Desktop Manager, checked "Preserve Application Position and Size" and unchecked Dialog Repositioning.
