Are you using anti-virus or firewall software? Some anti-virus or firewall application may incorrectly think mIRC is a trojan/virus and can prevent it from running correctly. You should first update your anti-virus/firewall software. If that does not help, you would need to add mIRC to the exceptions list of the anti-virus/firewall software.

Also, please type the following into mIRC in the status window, press the enter key, and report the results here:

//echo -a $os $version $beta $md5($mircexe,2) $file($mircexe).sig $script(0) $dll(0) $com(0)

You have 28 scripts loaded and any one of them might be causing the crash. You should try a clean install of mIRC (no scripts loaded) and see if you have the same problem. If you don't, then load your scripts one at a time until it crashes and then you'll know which script is causing it and then you can troubleshoot that script to find the cause.

This is not a clean install, as the results you published shows 5 scripts. In a clean install, the number of scripts returned is 1. Any number other than one means that the install is not clean.
