I'm om mirc 6.35 an network alphairc.com, if i goto fav to join a channel i get disconnected. The only way I can join is goto channel sreach then right click the channel. I have no problem with other servers. I also have auto join checked in fav but that does nothing.

Thanks
P.S Same problem with mirc 7.1

What is your disconnection message?

It just says disconnected and wont reconnect unless I close and reopen the network.

We need to know what the actual message is. What does it say in your status window? You should also give us the channel/network

This is what I get when joining the channel:

Quote:
[Link] #worldwideirc has become full, so you are automatically being transferred to the linked channel #end-of-the-irc

The channel seems full. I can't explain the disconnection though, but it could be related to your script. Perhaps you have a /who on join that is flooding you off.

In mIRC type:

//echo -a $md5($mircexe,2) $version $os $file($mircexe).sig $script(0) $dll(0)

And report the results here.

You didn't say where to add the script but I added it in my remote and it did work that time. The channel I was trying to join before wasn't full before also I was trying to join by going to my fav icon.Hopeful your script took care of it.

Thanks

No I did not tell you to add it to your remote. I told you to *type* it. That command is not going to do anything in your remote. You need to type it (in the editbox) and report the results here.

Make sure you also remove it from your remotes.

The edit box is the same place where you type your messages when chatting on IRC.

It will work. Type it there and paste the results here.

Of course, if you'd rather spend your time arguing with us than following our instructions, that's your call.

There's no need for you to be connected to a network for the command line that you were given to work.
All you need to do, is open mIRC, type the line you were given, then copy & paste the results for us here.
