This might just be my computer, but I am stating something anyways. I have had NO problems with the new version of mIRC except for that, I've noticed it runs slower under load than 6.35. 6.35, under load, showed little to no difference in performance when experiencing lag, but 7.1 becomes near unresponsive when experiencing lag/under load, and the screen becomes glitchy momentarily. Any input on why it might be doing this would be great.

Other than that it works fine, all the scripts I have made work fine, and the INI file handling is great wink Definitely helps with my mIRC-DeluXe project.

It is somewhat slower on redrawing the screen if you change channels/queries/etc after letting it sit for awhile, but then seems to be fine after changing to each channel/query/etc. It does take more memory to run now that it's unicode, though. What that can mean is that if you have a large buffer size set in your mIRC options, it may have been fine in 6.35, but may need to be reduced in 7.1... especially if you have multiple channels open at once. I always run mine at 1000 lines, so I don't know how it is at higher numbers that people sometimes use.

Lowered the buffer size to your recommendation of 1000 lines, seems to be running better now, and isn't lagging near as much. Thanks!
