Im not sure if I can explain this correctly but here goes,
What I would like to see in mIRC is a way for you to post text to yourself like the /play -t command does. Currently there is no way that I have found to do this. I think it would make scripting many Add-ons easier. Currently the Play command requires you to have a channel open and Text can not be played sent to a dialog.

EXAMPLE:
/TOPIC/
This would be line one
This would be line two

This would be next paragraph
with more lines

And so on

/Next topic/

How about /help /echo ?
I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve otherwise.

Does /loadbuf -t do what you need?

/loadbuf -t is the local analogy of /play -t. you can send those lines to a dialog control (-o) or echo it to the active window (-a). have a look at /help /loadbuf
