Forums Connection Issues cannot connect to server?

Sorry, I have been using MIRC for a while to get to karaoke realm but have never seen this.

Just will not let me connect to any server. "Unable to resolve server" or "connection times out".

Can someone please show pity on a poor fool without a clue.
