Hi,

I´m from italy and I don´t really understand the instruction of the avoice-command in the mirc-help to add people to my autovoice-list...

I want to add this user:
nick:Crumble ident/host:crumble@port-212-202-221-136.reverse.qdsl-home.it

Could someone give me an example how the /avoice command should look like?

/avoice -w Crumble 5

To add someone as an auto voice,


To add- /avoice -w <user hostmask(*!@*)> <channel>
To remove- /avoice -rw <user hostmask(*!@*)> <channel>

Last i checked that was how it was done...course i have been known to be proven wrong in the past...but it wouldn't hurt to try it. hope it works

and what does "5" mean? Is it the mask.type?

Yes mask type. If he has different nicks, then mask 11 if your best bet. Most universal, while still being unique to the nickname.

if you want to voice on adresses you just do
on voice:Join:*:*:{ //mode $chan +v $nick }
/auser > voice << is the level $address($11,2)
$11 is for menu query nicklist (selected nick) so it can be $nick as well .
,2 is *!*@host from the one added

server chatcity.hetnet.nl room #anime-chat
nickname Dragon for questions

I also have a problme with autovoice, but I don`t wanna open another avoice-thread

The addresses on my autovoiceliste will be not saved! So I
must add them again and again on each startup. I`m also
using masktype 11, but what`s the problem and how can I
save them to my autovoicelist?
