Forums mIRC Help Unable to connect to any channels

I am not quite sure where to find help, so I will post this here.
Since June 17,2009, I am unable to connect to any channels. I am running the latest version of MIRC and have been for months. I have made absolutely no changes to anything on my system. It is exactly the same as it was on June 16, 2009, the last time I was able to join a channel.

I am completely at a lost to know even where to start to figure out what to do. I checked with my ISP and they have not made any changes either.

Can somebody help me try to figure out what to do next.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) You connect to IRC networks, not channels
2) You join one or more channels after connecting to a network
3) Does this problem exist for you on all networks?
4) If not, have you tried joining the help channel (usually #help) on the network that you are having problems with?
5) If not, as this is a network based issue, that is the best place to ask for assistance.
6) If you can't join that channel either, what, if any, error message do you get in your status window?

I can't connect to any servers and I can't connect to any channels.
Can't ask for any online assistance because I can't get into any channels.

it seems like you're able to connect to servers fine...
