I think the $chan().something identifiers that contain topic,mode,key,limit,ial,logfile,stamp,status,inwho,wid,cid,hwnd,ibl,iel,iil,idle also need to contain something like setby and setdate. I find it odd that you can get the topic, and not who its set by or the date it was set at.. I've scoured the help file and found nothing so far. could it be there and just not documented?
Just a suggestion.. its simple enough to code with a hash table, a raw event, and an on topic event for if the topic changes while present in the room, and a simplistic identifier to return stored data in the hash table.. I just still find it hard to believe that this data isnt already accessable.
