Forums mIRC Help something wrong with chat in mirc

i can't quite explain it, everything works, except messages from otheres...

p.s. i just installed it almost no configuration and i havent touched colors or those that would affect that :S

p.s.2. don't get any pm's either

/remote off
- see if you can recieve messages then, if si, it's one of your scripts

/ignore -r
- will clear your ignore list

/mode yournick -d
- a umode that prevents all incoming messages

is there a mode that blocks pm's ? (query's)

only the ignore.

/ignore [-lrpcntikdwxu#] <on|off|nick/address> [type] [network]

Where p = private, c = channel, n = notice, t = ctcp, i = invite, k = control codes, d = dccs.

Depending on the ircd, maybe usermode +R (blocking private messages and notices of unregistered users).
