Forums General Discussion IRC logging bot/script.

Not sure if this is the right forum, or even the right place, but I come here because I don't know another forum that's dedicated to IRC.

I'm looking for a bot/script, the simpler the better, that can be run for a website (preferably a standard webhost) that will log everything in mIRC-style .txt logs. I'm looking for this because I move around with my laptop a lot, and thus disconnect and reconnect it a lot. I'd like to be able to create clean text logs to re-read important events when I have the time.

Any help would be nice. Thanks ahead of time.

1: are you looking for a eggdrop? (running on linux/unix)
2: do you have any friends with a computer connected 24/7?
3: do you upload the files manualy to the server it show the stat on?

if you have a friend that are connected with a computer to the net 24/7 but don't have mirc online all the time, then maybe he can run a windrop for you. google for windrop. (eggdrop for windows) script/TCL's can be found here: http://www.egghelp.org/

then you maybe need a shell, search with google to find one that you want, search for bot shell or eggdrop shell, and a option would also be to ask me nice and i maybe host a eggdrop for you, depending on what network you are on, i don't want to get a k-line on my bot by helping others, not all networks allow eggdrop's
