I've rediscovered Mirc after many years and can't remember how it works.
How do I get a short list of channels rather than the 35,000 or so that come up under, say, Dalnet?
Any hints, suggestions, etc. are very welcome!

You still want the /list command, but you need to provide some extra parameters for it. I suggest you look at /help /list

That will tell you what parameters are accepted with the /list command and how to enter them properly.
