here's something for you guys.

Connecting to ***.***.***.*** (6667)
-
* Unable to connect to server (Connection refused)

However; if I goto another computer in the house, it works fine. I cannot connect to any server on this computer. (I need it on this one due to the files on this computer)I've even disabled my firewall, to rule it out.
Any clue?

Type /firewall off in mirc to ensure you disabled the firewall settings in mirc as well.

Then i would suspect your network is at fault.

Can the computer connect to websites and such? Do other IRC clients work?

Type /dns irc.freenode.net in the problem mirc.. what happens?

nah network is fine. I figured out what the problem was. mIRC 6.32 was the problem. I suspect something was conflicting with the new version. It works as of downgrading to 6.31.

This seems to be normal for my computer. it dislikes any of the 6.0+ aim as well >.>

I just got the newst version of mIRC just now and can't get onto port 6667 on ircstorm.net at all, how do I downgrade if that is what I must do? is there a set way for doing this? I am getting unable to resove server (connsetion refused) Why that error? it used to log me right in unless my internet went down, and it works on my other comp in the network as well.

Edit: The server I'm trying to connect to is IRCstorm.net

You don't need to downgrade. The server is not accessible at that hostname, it's irc.ircstorm.net

Try /server irc.ircstorm.net 6667

You're only showing one network. Do you have the same problem on other networks? If not, then it's something to do with the gamesurge network, and you'll have to contact them. Try using their website which is http://www.gamesurge.net/
