Forums Feature Suggestions Regex Functionality with ctrl f

Allowing people to use regex for the matchtext when calling ctrl f in the script editor and/or another window would be cool and useful

While I'm not certain, I thin that Control-F brings up a Windows based find feature. As far as I know, Windows doesn't support Regex for that particular feature. And someone ought to be along soon to correct me if I'm mistaken.

Windows doesn't support it natively, but there are two ways you could do this anyway;

1. Open your own custom dialog box.

Or

2. Add your own controls to the box that's opened by windows and take over its events.

This dialog box is a custom mIRC one.
