Hey guys, sort of just a funny little bug I seemed to come across, but I'm trying to verify it's "buggedness" here wink

Anyhow, this will work with most any type of window I've used it on (channel windows, @custom_windows, etc).

1.) First, open a window, be it a chat room, custom one, whatever.

2.) Next, type: /window -h <window.name>. For instance, I did: /window -h #Test.

If you have the treeview toolbar open on the left, you will notice that the window gets removed from the list. This window will also disappear from the switchbar, too.

3.) Next is the pickle: If I type '/window -a <window>' or '/window -r <window>', the window will reappear, however, it's name does not show up back in the treeview window list, as well as the switchbar. Pretty odd, however, it does show in the 'Window' menu at the top of mIRC.

Anyhow, not really a 'major' issue, just something I stumbled across. Can anyone else verify?

I would just like to point out that this is partially true if you type:

/window -h "Status Window"

The window will disappear from the switchbar, but 'not' the treeview.

There's a good chance this may be intentional.. you'll also notice it does not disappear from your Windows menu list either (and never has). That said, I can see how hide needs to be dealt with to handle the treebar as well, for those who don't use the switchbar at all.

This is intentional, since the way to show/hide items from the treebar/switchbar is now /window's -wN switch.

As for not being able to hide the Status from the treebar, this is also by design.

Okay, I'm hearing 'intentional' so I will just forget about it wink Thanks for the prompt responses.

Intentional for -h, indeed, but note qwerty's reponse about the -wN switch, because you can still remove (most) windows from the treebar. That should give you what you need.
