Microsoft has patches that will allow you to see the Euro symbol on your computer. Try looking on their website and doing a search under their DOWNLOADS section for EURO or something similar. I had to do that on my machine and now it shows the euro symbol just fine on most (not all) fonts Those who fail history are doomed to repeat it
