Youc ould just copy the entire mIRC directory. It's not that big.
But the settings are primarily stored in the 'mirc.ini' file within the mIRC directory.
If you use any scripts, then take all the .INI files and all the .MRC files in the mIRC directory.

All the *options* (UI settings, checkboxes, etc.) are set in mirc.ini, so you only need that file.
Keep in mind that like Bekar mentioned, there are other settings you may want:
- any script files loaded (will be referenced from mirc.ini) - your address book settings (ignores, auto ops, etc) will be in control.ini
You may also want to copy: aliases.ini popups.ini remotes.ini users.ini
Because certain mIRC commands do modify those files.
If you just want the UI settings though-- mirc.ini and that's it.

If you're on 6.31, you're looking at the wrong mirc directory
your mirc.ini and user configuration settings are all stored in your Application Data directory
type //run $mircdir from within mIRC or go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Application Data\mIRC
or C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\mIRC\ if you're on Vista
Note that //run $mircdir is the easiest method since the Application Data directory is hidden by default
- argv[0] on EFnet #mIRC - "Life is a pointer to an integer without a cast"

Look into the -portable switch when running mIRC from a USB drive.

You would need to use the -portable switch in the command line at run time. In your mIRC folder, you could create a shortcut to your mirc executable and add the -portable switch. Then use the shortcut to start mIRC instead of running the exe file directly.
/help command line
