Hello,

I did this like 5-6 years ago but it has been an incredibly long time since I last did it so I have forgotten. There used to be a way I could add a code in mIRC so that I could press a key once and execute a command for example I used to have it set up so that when I pressed F5 it would /msg bot command. I think it was something I pasted in the Aliases or Variables section. Anyone recall what I'm talking about or how to do it?

Thanks

Make an alias and call it f5.

Thanks,

I figured out how to do it if i create an alias like for example /11 /msg person hello.

If I wanted it to be 1 key like F5 do you know what I would have to type in alias. I tried doing F5 /msg person hello but that didn't do it. Sorry if its a dumb question its been forever!

if it's in aliases (alt-a) then the "alias" prefix is not necessary
