When it asks me for my "login(IRC ident)" I'm assuming it's not ident@host.com so if someone could tell me how to get my real ident/identd thingy I would appreciate it This is for an eggdrop shell btw. ty all

This will also most likely be used as the ident (ident@host.com) for your eggdrop or bouncer on IRC. ~ Edit ~ To change your ident settings in mIRC... options (alt+o) > connect > identd Also, type /help identd

Constantine Vogon poet C Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 196	Yup it really does depend on the shell provider, as a rule of thumb I never run any ident servers on the shells I supply so folks can use their own. Happy mIRC user on Linux
