I have not been able to connect to any IRC network starting earlier this week. I get a "Unable to create socket". Any ideas why this is happening ? I use Windows XP.
Windows XP has a firewall built-in - that might be the cause for your problems. Try this Windows XP/Firewall & mIRC Setup Help first. for more info check out the other posts on this forum.
