I can color chat to me that uses my name Eileen.

But I don't know how to color the letters of MY chat to 'someone else'.

Can someone help me with this please?

I can't parse this. But no one can color the channel (or chat) background for everyone to see.

I don't think ctrl K characters can be supported in channel names. But I know people have successfull been able to show colors of the channel names when you whois them.[/quote]

If I'm understanding you correctly, open up the colors setting (the crayon icon) and then click on Own Text and change it to whatever color you want.

Along with what Stephr0x0rs suggested, you can also click on the window background in the same colors dialog and select a new color for it as well. Keep in mind that only you will see these changes.
