Odd,.... really nothing changed in the board or its settings that could have caused this. Does expiring your cookies (see https://forums.mirc.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=mycookies) help to solve this problem?

uhum, i guess this is about the same stuff i have problem with, when i open a page i see 4 unreaded posts, but when i have been reading one and want to go back and read the next one it looks like i have opened the page befor.. smirk

It's working again. I've seen this happen off an on with this forum software. It's most likely related to the cookies, but what exactly causes it, I have no idea. Whenever it happens, it only clears your current unreads and continues working from that point on, so if a new message comes in after that, you'll see it as unread.

Tested to reinstall firefox, still same problem so i don't think it have something to do with my firefox and cookies. Any other ideas?

Reinstalling FF won't clear your cookies. wink

cleared cookies, then testing to remove and install FF again, but still same prob..

Remember that and of the unread topic markers that were "lost" will remain lost. Once you lose them, there's no way to get them back.

That said, are you not seeing any *new* unread topic markers?

Right, it should only have happened once (or at least just for that one day) and then started giving new post icons again for anything that happened after that.

It was like that for me during two days, then suddenly it started to work again smile
