Is there a way to show echos in italic?
i know we can use ctrl+b to give a bold char in echos

No. Only underline, bold and colours are supported.

Why would you want to echo italic you can set your fonts to parse italic.

well because its for my theme. the server i use has a webchat where users can have italic fonts too. so it would have been nice to show these texts italic in my theme
