Well, it's not really the {} button any more, but the 'Check Brackets' button in the top right hand corner.

When clicking on this button multiple times, the drop-shadow (which is the 'Enter' action when not in the editable dialog) isn't left in a constant place. It swaps between the 'OK' and 'Check Brackets' buttons.

[NOTE] Once again, yeah. Not huge, but still..

Interesting. If you click slowly, it will change every click. If you click more quickly it will change every other click.

I pressed the button, an didn't see any movement.. So I pressed the button a few more times, and noticed the shadow moving.. wink

Basically, I expected something to happen when I pressed it (was doing lazy-coding), and it so happened that I didn't make enough mistakes for it to find.

Not sure if this related in any way.
Besides the numerous problems i'm having with this mIRC release
I opened the script editor to the remotes tab, the button that's supposed to check the brackets had the icon for the disconnect button on the toolbar, then when i focused the aliases tab it disappeared and had no icon at all, then the popups tab showed the check, then back to remotes and i had no icon at all, it's sometimes there, sometimes not.
I'm finding this release a real pain confused

Works fine here. What OS are you using and is this a clean install?

I can reproduce this as well, it seems to be Windows automatically changing the hilight on the buttons when the focus changes, I haven't been able to find a way around yet.

Thanks this has been fixed for the next version. This was due to Vista requiring a different method to display icons in buttons when using the Windows Vista Classic theme.
