Forums Connection Issues Problem DCC sending to an eggdrop

This is a strange one, I think. I cannot dcc send to an eggdrop that I regularly need to dcc send things to. I have never had a problem and do not currently have a problem with dcc sending to any other client. I can also initiate a dcc chat with the bot with no problem.

This has happened a lot of times before. Usually, it goes away on it's own in a few hours, but once it went on for a few weeks, and has currently been going on for four days. Nothing is intentionally changed on my end or the eggdrop's end from "problem" to "no problem", which is to say, I just have to wait... It seems to mysteriously resolve itself... finally :s

Of course, this is very inconvenient for me in the meantime.

Any ideas?

Figured it out. In case someone else has this problem, the eggdrop needed my reverse dns to work, whereas other clients just need the correct IP, and my isp was having some problem that prevented me from having a proper reverse dns.
