Forums Bug Reports Line marker

This probably isn't a bug so I'll apologise in advance for wasting peoples time. Here's the thing when I get loads of server messages and such in my status bar I hit ctrl+l to bring up the line marker and nothing happens. I could have about 40 lines in my status bar and can't use the line marker.

When I type in a different window /.timer 1 1 echo -s Test I can then show and hide the line marker as I please but it wont appear until I do something like that.

Like I said it's probably not a bug, I've never really used or understood the line marker so I'll look forward to seeing any clarification.

The line marker is only set when something happens in an *inactive* window; that's its purpose.. to show you what has been added to the window since you last looked at it.

For future reference, if there's something you doubt is a bug, it's best to post in another forum first (mIRC help, for instance) or ask on an IRC help channel, just to keep things clean over here.
