starbucks_mafia Hoopy frood S Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 2,962 Norwich, UK	I can only reproduce the exact opposite effect: If you receive too many CTCP VERSION requests in a short span of time the default reply will stop happening but the event continues to trigger (therefore allowing any custom replies to continue). Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and stupid comments are intentional.

My tests confirm what starbucks_mafia stated... it's always returning the scripted reply to me tested with Code: ctcp ^::{ if ($1 == VERSION) { .ctcpreply $nick $1 test } } and protection for ctcp replies enabled
