I'd like to see a command which turns off the tips and enables it (similar to /remote off and /perform off)

Background: I'm not using this PC alone! If I go afk, i'd like to turn off these tips to allow my familiy undisturbed working
(And I don't want them to read my messages :P )

Another point: PLEASE give an option to turn off these DAMN AUTO-COPY when selecting text!!!
I hate it!

Thank you wink

Seconded.

While on the topic of tips.

How about something to specify the width and height of the tip?

$tip(name,title,text,delay,iconfn,iconpos,width,height,alias,wid)

Also, it'd be nice if:

$tip(<name>,<title>,<text>) treats it as $tip(<name>,<title>,<text>,,,,,,) ...

While I'm thinking about it, transparancy would be nice too.

$tip(name,title,text,delay,iconfn,iconpos,width,height,transparancy,alias,wid)

I didn't see the point in creating a new $tip thread. How about having a nobar parameter in the call so you can't see bar counting down but still have the 3-60 second delay.

$tip(name,title,text,delay,nobar,iconfn,iconpos,alias,$wid)

Although this might actually break a few scripts because where nobar is other scripts will think it should be the iconpos.

Also, what is the correct syntax for the /tip command? I'm getting:

-
* /tip: invalid parameters
-

I'm not sure what the various switches for it are, but /tip -c <name> closes a tip.

And, in the same way, a "hide tips when locked" option would be fine. smile
