i use Cyclone mIRC and i want it to play a sound if someone in the channel says my nick .

how do i do that

1. Open up your remote scripts (Alt + R).
2. Go to File > New (If the page isn't blank already)
3. Paste in the following code and add the file you want to play.

...or he could use the sound option in highlighting.

options (alt+o) > irc > highlight

Sure, I guess. I've never used that feature so I don't know what it's capable of.

It's capable of playing a specified sound when a specified word(s) is typed on a channel as well as highlighting the specified word(s).
