Forums mIRC Help Disabling auto post?

Hi, new to the forums. Sorry if this has been asked about before, I did try searching but couldn't find what I was looking for.

What I'm referring to in the topic is mIRC's tendancy to automatically post anything pasted into the message box that is too big for it. It's a pain if you slip up trying to paste a URL or something and end up flooding a friend with garbage because you copied down a lot of text earlier and slipped up, for example. Can it be disabled so mirc just rejects the text, as if you were typing and ran out of space in the enter box?

Options, Other, then click on 'Confirm'.

It allows you to limit the number of lines that you can paste before you get a warning.

Thank you, seems to work. It's odd, when you open that section, it's already checked, but doesn't seem to become active until you go in and hit 'Okay' on the options screen.
