Hi All,

I'm looking for a way to automaticly synch the clock on my computer with one of the public time servers, periodicly.
Once every hour or something. Without using third-party software, and via mIRC code laugh

http://tf.nist.gov/timefreq/service/time-servers.html
I found that list with servers, but no idea on how to retrieve the time with that.
Did anyone do this before? Does anyone have such a code?

Thank you in advance.

What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?

If you are using Windows XP or Vista, just right-click on the clock in the taskbar, choose "adjust date/time", choose Internet Time tab, change the server to whatever you want to sync to and click Update Now. Personally, I use bigben.beyondirc.net. I think Windows will sync every 1 day.

Thanks for the replies guys, most helpfull.

I've checked the add-on that jigsy posted, but if thats not XP compatible, it could use an update.
Anyway, I've changed the setting that Genius proposed and that seems to work.
On top of it, I'll also activate the timer that Maroon proposed, and see how that works.

Thanks a lot!

On a side note, typical Microsoft to have a time server set as default that's no longer working.
