When I start 2 or more dcc sends I get disconnected from IRC.
This is happening on Undernet. not sure about Dalnet, have not used that for several months now.
I can reconnect shortly afterwards and continue a send.
This problem does not happen when I just send to one person at a time. I am using Mirc6.03 with the Invision script, but this happens with any script I use. My OS is WinXP with service pack 1 installed. This problem just recently started and it is not my cable isp causing the problem. This happens when sending to cable or dialup users.

First thing i would try is to test on a clean copy of mIRC without invision to see if it still happens.

I would guess you are getting disconnected with 10053 (software caused blahblah) error? Use the search feature here, all forums, all posts, using 10053 and you can see some of the things that seem to be causing this for xp users. Doesnt seem to be any one thing fixes all solution.

Maybe saying disconnected was the wrong way to state it.
My sends slow down to nothing and time out. Then i ping timeout, not a software connection abort.

i'd still try what i suggested first in the last post. Beyond that, some of these things have helped ppl who posted here with the same slow down/stop prob:

-check router firmware/software
-if you (or invision) have any of those download speed patch booster things, get rid of them and fix whatever they edited in the registry
-disable xp firewall
-try connecting to a diff server port, 6667 seems to give some ppl probs like this
-some have found it related to some nic cards as i recall (try the search feature)

it could also be something at isp end, some say they are using "interference techniques to stop bandwidth abuse".
and of course, it could be on the other persons end.
