Forums Feature Suggestions on DIALOG Focus Event

I miss as Event the possibility, if I change with the TAB or with the mouse to the next ID (e.g. a Editbox) in a DIALOG, that I can execute a Script.
So I could color the active Editbox.

With the mouse, that's what the sclick event is for. Not sure if the TAB key triggers any events and I don't have time to test it before I leave for work.

OP: you can't change the colour of an editbox anyway, so that would have to be added also to do what you're requesting.

hixxy, does DCX handle coloring editboxes and perhaps TAB events? I haven't looked that closely at it other than the minor use I put it to in one of my game scripts.

DCX already supported coloring editboxes, but not TAB events.

In any case, a focus event could be useful. For some reason, I think I remember a reason why this was a problem, but I don't remember what it was. I could just be imagining things, though.

DCX supports both as far as I know.

DCX uses callback aliases instead of events. Read the DCX docs or ask on their forums for help.

Yeah, it takes getting used to, but it's really pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
