If you try to use "find text" in mirc, and there you enter $+ ", then when you do the search and it find a text with $+ ", then " will be romved, only $+ remains.
It seems this happens anytime " is used, regardless of the search text. Try searching for "test" and both will be removed. It also happens with the channel/query window search, but only if two " are used.
