since the command prefix can be specified in the options dialog, there is no point showing it in some error messages, such as "* /<command_here>: not connected to server"
Removing the slash would be coherent, in my opinion.

the / will always work, if you specify a new trigger or not...
if you specify a new one BOTH will work
If it ain't broken, don't fix it!
