Hi! Wow.. haven't posted in quite a while.. anyways.

I have a script that alters the output of all msgs, notices and quite a few raws. I haven't had problems with it until recently, when I started getting very lagged and got dc'd when doing a /list. I didn't even touch the 322 raw.

I tried debugging but it showed nothing out of the ordinary. When I try with a clean mIRC, everything goes smoothly.

Help :P

Since mIRC 6.21 I have noticed this problem... I've even tried it on smaller networks and with fresh mIRC... There seems to be a freeze for a few seconds... Like a bad while loop... Maybe this should go into the bugs section (Im running P4 (2.0 GHz) with 512MB RAM at the moment)

Hmmm.. interesting. I must add that the "clean" version I talk about is not 6.21. However, I don't get a few seconds freeze, I get a 30-50secs lag with disconnection.

Looking at the script might be tough, it was over 800 lines. I'm looking for other factors might affect the /list raw except the script.

If you decide to let us see the script, and you're unable to reduce the number of lines, I suggest that you use a pastebin, like the one available at http://www.mirc.net/paste/

Tomorrow I'll try to cut down some fat of off it and paste it. It's 1am now and I'm going to bed. Good night smile

Aparently it solved itself. I loaded each script I had separately, and then got them together, and it all worked fine. I think it was a server thing. I was always on one server, and since it split today, I used another. Everything went alright then.

Thanks for the help smile

Zyzzy.
