Forums Feature Suggestions $did(dname,id) .type? Type of id

I request to add .type property to $did that tells me if the id is a text,editbox,checkbox,....

why do you need this? if you code a dialog i would be suprised if you didnt know what type you coded?

You might have code that dynamically creates dialogs or it might just be a more convenient way to loop through a lot of dialog controls without having to hard-code IDs.

Either way it could be useful.
