Forums mIRC Help mIRC doesnt see SSL dll files

Hi.
I installed windows on a laptop which I run email, irc ect on. I had been using SSL with mirc for ages and it worked fine on my old computer. but now the ssl tab isnt showing up on this new install.
Wierd thing is I did exactly the same install process on my new vista PC and it worked fine, on old and new versions of mirc.

I have tried copying the required DLL files in the mirc folder( i didnt need to do that in vista) but it still won't load them. Is there anything else I can do? I even reformatted the laptop and the first thing I tried was to install mIRC with openssl with no luck.
I have run out of ideas

DO NOT copy the SSL DLL into the mIRC folder while Open SSL is installed on your computer. It will not work. Delete the DLL file, the name I can't seem to remember right now (might have started with an l). Re-Install Open-SSL.
