This is just something that I would like to see added in the future. My idea...

My Idea would be to allow you to highlight multiple lines in the TreeBar. This would make it more conveinent to close multiple queries or channels.

Well, I don't use the treebar, but shift-clicking multiple times quickly can remove a *lot* of channels very quickly.

Maybe the ability to control-click items to select more than one could be useful, for the purpose of right clicking and applying a setting on (or in your example closing) all selected items at once.
