not sure if it's a bug , in my customised mirc raw displays it doesnt seem to catch numeric nicks to be in the room , even if they are.

eg: if (213 ison #) { }

it doesnt recognise the nick being in the room which messes up my displays.

now before someone sais why use numeric nicks , it's just something i noticed , lol.

Like u said, why? A name begins with a alphabetic character. The fact you are testing a name that will never ocur should, in itself, make thig "bug" null and void.

I'm almost positive a name cannot start with a number.. The name is like a variable in most programing languages.. MUST start with an alpha character (A-Z,a-z) then can be alphanumeric with extended characters (such as `,^,[,],etc)

If you can find me a server that allows number nick, please post it..I'd be interested in hearing about it.

Well KingTomato... ConferenceRoom allows it if u r an IRCop, using a command u can change ur nick to 1234 or something like that.. also u can put control codes in ur nick

YET ANOTHER REASON U SHOULDNT BE DOING IT ........
just because its there doesnt mean u should do it ........ if conference room is the only ircd to have this ability then id suggest NOT using this ability ..... its common sense if it breaks scripts then dont do it ...... now aside from that any normal ircd doesnt have this issue so again its a server software bug then for even allowing it not mircs bug ...... how can mirc conform itself to every singe ircd out there when they dont follow any standard protocals???? just look at it logically

that is true, the network allowing numeric nicks needs authentication to log on , so it's not really made for mirc anyway.
